Extreme Cycling

Hello
These days Sahej is enjoying his Dushera Holidays. He has 10 days off from School. Whats more interesting is that he does not even has any homework to do. Bus wake up in the morning, do some lazy stuff, then watch TV, then watch some movies, then play some games, then go down in the evening and then watch TV. What more can you ask from life.....Hmmmmm...m jealous.
Yesterday I took Sahej along with me to get some eggs from the local market near the house. He was on his cycle and was cycling very good. He was not cycling fast, he was ringing the bell if someone came in front of him. Overall very safe cycling. But it doesn't take long to change that.
When I reached the shop and bought the eggs, Sahej was on the platform that separates the shop from the road. There were 2 stairs that separated the shop and the platform. He then picked his cycle and kept that on level to the shop on top of those 2 stairs. And then the next moment, he said "Papa dekho" (See papa). The time that I see and turn around, I don't know what overcomes him, and he peddles his cycle from those stairs. And the next voice I hear is phatak.....uuuuuuuhhhhhhhhuuuuuu..........papaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa........................
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
He was crying to be precise. Here is what happened. He tried to do extreme cycling from those 2 stairs and thought that he would be able to cycle around them, which unfortunately did not happen and he fell on top of his cycle. He got an injury on his legs. He cried for some time more due to shock, but then was composed and came back home with me. Hmmmm
These days, Sahej is in habit of asking time and date for everything. And I mean everything. Like for example, if he sees a picture, he wants to know when is that picture coming, or when did we saw that. For any toy, he wants to know the time and date when that toy was bought. For us, he wants to know when we go to office, when we come back, when we do our breakfast and etc.
He is acting like a walking calender these days. You speak about any date and he will be able to tell you which day it was, and any special thing about that day. Hmmmm
That day when I told him that his dada-dadi are coming and what does he want them to bring. He thought for some time and then came up with his wish list. The first thing was another gun, when I told him that he has many guns and can have something else, he again thought and said they can bring me small batteries for my video game. When I told him that even I will get him batteries, he asked for a small TV for his room. Then he asked for a powder for himself. Hmmm...Small kids...small demands....and strange demands.
Chalo more later
