Last 2 weeks have been busy to say the least.
Sahej had been selected for the Bournvita Quiz contest from his class. We were informed about the same via his Diary and we were told that he will have to wear special dress for the occasion-Formal Yellow shirt with full sleeves, black trousers, black half jacket and school shoes. Hmmm...
And then the search started to get the desired dress. We went along at least 10 showrooms to get the shirt. Only managed to get a yellow shirt with half sleeves. Then Jovita had an idea that we can buy the cloth and get it stitched. So next day, we went to the market in search of the cloth and most importantly a tailor who can stitch the shirt in a day. Finally after an hour of frantic search and many shops later, we were able to solve this part of the riddle. But...but there was another mystery. Where will we get the black half jacket. To get this, Jovita went to InOrbit to get it and then went again to get its size changed. But finally, on Tuesday night, Sahej's dress was ready and so was Sahej ready to roll......
Although still don't know what happened in the quiz contest. As Sahej never told us anything. Will update as soon as I get any info.
Also that week, Jovita was invited for the Teachers day celebration in the school. The message specifically said. Mother invited. Fathers please abstain. Hmmmmm....
Jovita and Sahej were part of a poem recitation there which they both had to sing.
One interesting thing that happened this week was Sahej admitting to getting a Marriage proposal. Yes sir...you have read it right...a Marriage Proposal.
That day sahej was in mood of talking and in that mood spilled the beans that a girl in his class by the name of Vani was interested to marry him. He told that she told him that she will be ready to marry him. When asked from him about the girl, who she is and how she looks, the reply was "meri class mein hai...thodi brown hai...face poora brown jaisa hai"(She is in my class. Her face is brown). Now then.....
And the buck doesn't stop here only. When Jovita prodded him more and asked him that if any other girl comes and told him that she will marry him, what will he say, his simple reply was "main usko bol doonga na ki meri shaadi ho gayee hai"(I will tell her I am already taken).....
How very faithful.....Hmmmmmm
When Jovita asked that will he bring the girl and show her to us so that we can also meet her. He replied in affirmative. When Jovita asked what will he do if she doesn't like the girl, will he leave her, the reply was "aisa kaise....ab usne shaadi ke liye bola hai...main mana thode hi kar sakta hu" (How come? Now that she has asked me to marry her, how can I refuse?) Now then...what a commitment and that too for the first match he got. What do you say to this.....
And then a couple of days later, when I was just trying to make him embarrass, I asked him about the girl again. And prompt came the reply "woh white hone ke liye cream laga legi"(She will start using the fairness cream, so dont worry). Hmmm....
Seems like he has the match and we are no longer required....
