Bidar...holidays....masti

Hello
Last Wednesday Sahej was supposed to start school. DPS was to open on Wednesday. But as fate was to bless Sahej, due to the summer wave continuation, schools remain closed and now Sahej will rejoin on 21st of June. Good for you, Sahej. Have fun....
When I told Sahej yesterday that he will be going to school tomorrow morning, the expression on his face said it all. His smile vanished and a look of concern came on his face. He asked me, "kal jana padega...kya papa" (Will I have to go to school tomorrow). Hmmmm
Seems like 2 months of rest, play, TV, PS2 and movies has caused Sahej to think that school will never open. And when I told him, he immediately remembered that his school homework is not finished. He asked me what to do now. I told him to count how many pages he has not done, and told him to do that right at that moment. He agreed and even was about to start his work. All because he knew there is no escape now. Thats when I told him that don't bother, I will tell his teacher that he will do the homework soon. That's when he agreed to drop his book and sleep.
This Saturday, we went to Bidar to pay our obeisance to the Gurudwara Nanak Jheera Sahib.
Here Guru Nanak Dev ji had started a stream of water which was sweat and even after 500 years, the stream is still flowing. Amazing.

Sahej was pretty excited to be there. He paid his obeisance and sat in a very disciplined way. Earlier when we were going there Sahej had asked from me some money to put in his purse which somehow had made an appearance in his bag of toys that day. I gave him some money to keep in his purse. When quizzed what will he do of that money, he simply replied "babaji ko doonga" (I will give it to babaji). Sahej you truly are a gem. Blessed to have you in our home. And true to his words, he put all the money in babaji's golak.
Later when we went to the place where babaji actually started the stream of sweat water, Sahej was again behaving very well and was not at all creating any ruckus. So much so that the sewadar ji there was so impressed with him that he did a special ardas with Sahej in his company. And Sahej, during the ardas was standing with all the patience and homage. Seeing him standing like that, a engineering student told us that he can still not stand straight while ardaas and was amazed to see a little boy like Sahej standing with all the homage and discipline during ardaas. Way to go Sahej.

Sahej also tried completing his langar. He then bought himself a video game from there and played all the way home with it.
On the way back, we were caught in the middle of a cyclone like rain. The rain and the wind was so strong that the vehicles were forced to stop in the middle of the road itself. We somehow kept going and with the grace of God, were able to pass the area without any problems. Sahej was sleeping all the way through this and was least bothered with what was happening outside.
Yesterday Sahej wore his new night suit. Snaps are attached. He was looking very cute in the new suit with him having had a head bath as well.
Chalo more later
