Kinna Pyaara Bacha Hai
Hello
Last week Sahej's Dada-dadi came to Hyderabad and Sahej was supposed to come with me to get them from Station. I picked him from the bus stop and off we went to get them. In the way, Sahej finished his roti and juice and also changed his clothes. He was behaving very nicely. When they had reached here and we were coming back, Sahej started showing his Good Bacha techniques. He stopped talking to anybody and sat in the car with pin drop silence. He was shy of talking to dada-dadi. And when I asked him to ask Dadu what has he brought for him, and they told him that they have some CD's for him, only then life and smile came back into Sahej. And then he was unstoppable, with demanding to be given CD's that very moment. Somehow we came back home and made him to sleep with a promise that he will be given the CD's once he wakes up. But barely an hour later he was up and awake with the demand to see CD's and relented only when he got hold of them. Then it was joy time for Sahej as he got hold of 4 CD's of which he finished seeing 2 that day itself.
A couple of days later, we were to goto Airport to drop his nani. We were to go early in the morning and were expected to come back by the time Sahej school bus arrives. So we were not in a position to wake him and get him ready for school. So we cajoled him a night before and tried to make him agree that he wakes up when his dadu will come and ask him to get up. We were very apprehensive that he will wake up in this fashion and get ready for school and were mentally prepared for his leave that day.
And to our surprise, when we reached home, Sahej was not only awake, he was completely ready for school, with his uniform, patka, tiffin and milk. Up and running....
When asked what had happened, dadu told us that when he went to wake up him, he just asked him once and Sahej got up from the bed and started getting ready for school. He did his brush and washed his face and then got dressed up and drank milk. All that without any fuss....
And dadu-dadi were all praises for him that he is such a pyaara bachha that he got up and got ready without any ado.
When I asked him that how did he woke up in one call, he told me that he was already awake at 6, but pretended to sleep for a little longer and when his dadu called him, he started getting ready.
Kinna pyaara Bachha hai....
This weekend Sahej also celebrated Diwali and had a gr8 fun with crackers. Jovita had brought him a big pack of crackers, and he was ready to burst them. When we went down for bursting crackers, Sahej was repeatedly saying "I am not afraid of Crackers". And he proved himself correct by holding the fulljhadies and other child crackers. He was having a ball of a time along with other friends of his. At the end he was heard saying "Aaj to mazaa hi aa gaya" (Today I had a great fun).
This week Sahej is going to participate in Show and Tell competition in School for which we are planning to make him tell a story from Tom & Jerry book that he got himself on weeked.
Lets see how well it goes...
More later...
